You may feel like you are alone in having unwanted hair, but you're really not. Believe it or not, your hair problems are probably typical. There are many reasons people - both men and women - turn to electrolysis as the best way to remove hair. No matter what the specific problem area, age, gender, hair or skin type, hair color or skin color - you have plenty of company and electrolysis can help. Every day, people just like you choose electrolysis as a permanent, safe, and effective solution.
Does electrolysis work?
Absolutely. Electrolysis is the only method approved by the FDA for permanent removal of unwanted hair. As the hair is treated, regrowth is prevented rather than just removed temporarily. Only electrolysis provides both hair removal and hair elimination.
What is the science behind electrolysis?
A small electric current is transmitted by a fine, sterile probe (or needle) directly into the natural opening of the hair follicle, destroying the dermal papilla, the matrix, and an area called "the bulge", all of which cause hair to grow and regenerate.

Electrolysis (aka Electrology) is permanent hair removal. Each hair is treated individually, which means that electrolysis requires a series of treatments. The sessions can vary from 15 to 60 minutes, depending upon your needs.
After the completion of the initial program, it is common to receive maintenance treatments anywhere from 1 to 6 times a year, depending on your individual situation.
As is the case with laser hair removal, your first appointment will be for a free and private consultation to review and define exactly what are your needs and goals. We will advise you of the cost to meet your goals, and provide you with the pre-treatment and after-care instructions for optimal comfort.
Depending upon your specific needs, it may be recommended that electrolysis be used in combination with laser hair removal.
